36 Hours Developing

Press

We are four student at Pisa University's Computer Science Faculty who have created a unmatched initiative. 36 Hours Developing born is a challenge to proof our knowledge, our skills. To face us with our limits.

From Saturday April 5th, 9am CEST, to Sunday 6 April, 8pm CEST, we will develop in 36hours non-stop a full and running application for the iPhone, the revolutionary Apple's phone. We've chosen this new platform after the recent release of its SDK, the tool that allow developers to write applications. Being so new, we've no previous experience on writing software for this device, this poses us yet another challenge, and makes the project even more enjoyable.

During next week 36hoursdeveloping.com users will able to read, evaluate and comment on our application design. We are open to any suggestion from people and other developers to make an application that will be appreciated and used by most iPhone/iPod Touch users.

36hoursdeveloping.com during our working 36 hours will host live webcam streaming, and real-time screenshoots of our developing computers. We will also set up a developing blog and a way to communicate with us.
